Bye-Bye Bill and Ted, Hello Jabbawockeez. The wildly talented, award-winning hip hop dance group, universally recognized as America’s best dance crew, will bring their innovative choreography, intricate synchronized style and signature white masks to Universal Studios Hollywood in an electrifying, original new show during Halloween Horror Nights.

Marking their introduction into horror-themed entertainment, the all-new Jabbawockeez show, created exclusively for “Halloween Horror Nights,” in Hollywood, is aiming to thrill guests, propelling them into “a new realm of gravity-defying choreography accompanied by stunning special effects, pulse-pounding music and the Jabbawockeez unique brand of humor.”

After a year of going dark, the park’s Castle Theatre venue, will, once again, host a live show. Jabbawockeez will be performing multiple times per night throughout the event. “The Jabbawockeez are the perfect complement to ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ as we continually seek to elevate our event with compelling, cutting edge entertainment,” said John Murdy, Universal Studios Hollywood Creative Director and Executive Producer of “Halloween Horror Nights.” Their progressive art form parallels our groundbreaking approach to creating movie quality haunted attractions and we are excited to collaborate with them to infuse their energetic Las Vegas show into our ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ event.”

The troupe certainly comes with an outstanding pedigree as they are starring currently in PRiSM at the Luxor in Las Vegas. The Jabbawockeez are considered dance movement pioneers having shattered the glass ceiling for dance groups worldwide as the first dance crew to ever headline their own show in Las Vegas.

Is an over-the-top dance show enough to make fans of the Halloween Horror Nights franchise forget the old Bill and Ted shows from previous years?  After the show was closed during the 2013 season, fans were upset.  In 2014 the show did not return. Let’s be honest, there was far too much happening at Universal Studios Hollywood for anyone to really miss Bill and Ted.  We were even treated to an extra maze on top of that.  This year, though, we are beginning to see a new normal.  An all new, intense, high-energy, dance show without the corny jokes and bad acting.  Hmmm.  It might be an improvement.  Your thoughts?
