For the first time in its 94-year history of providing public tours, sections of the Winchester Mystery House that have NEVER been accessible to the public before, plus areas that have been OFF-LIMITS for decades, will finally be open as part of the all-new Explore More Tour. Premiering on Thursday, May 25, the Explore More Tour is the first new tour to debut at Winchester Mystery House in over 20 years.
This new tour replaces the Grand Estate/Behind-the-Scenes Tour that included both the base Mansion Tour and the Behind-the-Scenes Tour. The Explore More Tour is only available in tandem with the Mansion Tour (it is not offered separately). The overall new tour experience lasts two-hours and 15- minutes and provides the most comprehensive exploration of the mansion ever offered at Winchester Mystery House and is being offered for a limited time only.
The story of Sarah Winchester and her incredible house is also currently being produced as a film starring Academy Award®-winning actress Helen Mirren as Sarah. The period paranormal thriller “Winchester” is due in theaters in 2018.
