When we visited Black Market Escape Rooms’ MURDER CO a few months ago, we absolutely loved it. The blending of a traditional escape room with an incredibly immersive experience, and the horror aspect, was just what we were looking for when we get locked in somewhere and given an hour to escape.
However, the folks at Black Market Escape Rooms is upping the ante this Halloween season with MURDER CO: HARDCORE. That’s right, there will be more blood, more gore, and, in their words, be intense as f*ck.
This limited time event will transform their normal immersive horror escape room experience with a new story, new puzzles, and a ramped-up experiences during select nights this season. Plus, if you have visited before, you will be able to become part of the story with their #SnakeInTheGrass experience, at no additional cost. Just don’t tell your friends about it, but DO tell your host upon arrival to get set up.
“Our mission from the initial launch of MurderCO has been to create a highly produced, blood pumping horror experience while maintaining a high ‘fun factor,’” said Jon Cooke, founder and CEO of Black Market Escape Rooms. “However, after high demand, guests will no longer be voyeuristic bystanders. Our members will now have to get a little blood on their own hands as they are plunged right into the blood-soaked action and although this is now a more extreme experience it is still high in fun factor.”

individuals to privately witness a live murder. Of course, it’s only after you enter the building that specific details emerge.
