It’s been 11 years since a new chapter in the chaotic adventures of Dante and Nero has been released, and with Devil May Cry 5 out, their demonic powers have been unleashed into the world! A new video detailing some behind the scenes secrets reveals how the characters came to life during the filming of the cut scenes.
In order to create the dramatic combat scenes, real-life actors and models were used in Devil May Cry 5. Available exclusively in the Deluxe Edition, players can choose to swap the in-game cinematics with these original pre-vis live action cut scenes.
This allows you to enjoy the game as if it’s a real-life Devil May Cry movie! The video gives players a sneak peek at all of the action, where the three devil hunters come together to fight.
Devil May Cry 5 is currently available for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X. It is also available for the PS4 and PC. For those hardcore fans out there buying the Deluxe Edition, it includes not only the game but also comes with four alternate devil breaker weapons for Nero, motorcycle weapon variant for Dante, alternate style rank and title screen announcers, behind the scenes live-action cutscenes, and classic battle theme music options.
For the ultimate demon hunter fans in North America, the Devil May Cry 5 Collector’s Edition includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, as well as a replica model of Nico’s motor home, art book and notes from Nico’s workbench, premium pin, bumper sticker, and an 11″ x 17″ exclusive cloth print.
There is a demo currently available for download on Xbox One and PS4 offering a sneak peek of Nero and a selection of his special Devil Breaker arms as he battles the demons in Red Grave City.
