Though we didn’t catch it the first time around, we heard quite a bit about WHISPERS IN THE DARK, an immersive murder mystery séance, when it was playing in the LA Arts District. Now, after a successful two month run, it is coming back at a new location in Santa Monica.
This immersive experience has ghosts and spirits communicate with audience members to unlock the secrets behind a centuries-old unsolved homicide. With only an intimate group of 30 people gathered around the séance table, a Medium acts as your conduit to the other side and takes you on an unbelievable journey.
As the story goes, in the early 1920’s, a fire set by an arsonist ripped through the mansion of a tobacco tycoon, killing his young socialite wife. Miraculously, their baby Elizabeth survived in her crib, completely unscathed. How did Baby Elizabeth survive? Who would want the wife dead? What secrets were taken to the grave? There are restless souls wandering in the afterworld that will not rest in peace until the truth is revealed.
During the séance guests may experience light physical touch, unexplainable forces, ghosts and spirits. Minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Everyone attending must sign a waiver. This performance is wheelchair accessible, but otherwise requires walking, sitting, and standing.
