Media Molecule, the developers of Dreams on the PlayStation 4, just announced that a free demo of the game is now available on the PlayStation Store as of May 1st, 2020! Along with the free demo, they are also releasing a new video series, “Dreaming With…” that will be available on May 15th, 2020, with a teaser trailer for the series.

Synopsis: Dreams is a creative game universe, developed by Media Molecule, the creators of games such as LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway. In Dreams, you can create anything, whether it be games, music, videos, paintings, or anything else your heart desires! The free demo includes some of the creators favorite creations within the game, such as The Ornithologist’s Private Collection, Ruckus, Cubric, Player Piano Player, Art Therapy, and Great Job Human. It also includes some information about the creative mode, and roughly the first 20 minutes of the developer’s musical narrative adventures, Art’s Dream. Plus, by downloading this demo and playing through, if you choose to purchase the full version of the game, you get to start right back where you left off in the demo!

Dreams - Trial and Unlock Trailer | PS4
The teaser trailer shows some of the creations advertised, including some creative directors and creators for some video game studios, such as Pixelopus, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and Media Molecule themselves. Some of the advice they give is to start by creating something you’re passionate about, and try everything as you go along! Allowing a game like this to have a free demo gives creators all around the world to build what’s in their mind and make it available for the rest of the world. Some creators on the program made films, full on video game concepts, even music videos, while all allowing themselves to let their wild side loose, and simply follow their heart.

The free demo for Dreams is currently available for download on the PlayStation Store! If you choose to download the full version, it is $39.99 on the Store. The “Dreaming With…” video series will also be able on May 15th, 2020. Download Dreams and explore unlimited creativity to your heart’s content!
