Submit Your Film to MONSTERS OF FILM 2020

MONSTERS OF FILM, now in its ninth year, is Stockholm’s first and biggest film festival for horror, sci-fi, fantasy, surrealism, dark art house, and fantastic. The doors to this year’s festival will be open from September 14-20, 2020.

Monsters of Film are accepting films from creators all over the world: short films, full features, or anything! Submissions are open from March 23rd-July 7th via FilmFreeway.

The International Short Film section will return for 2020; all submissions will be screened before the selection of contenders is made. If selected to contend at the Monsters of Film Short Film section, you will be notified. A winner will be chosen by the International Jury, and will be announced during the closing ceremony on Sunday, September 20th.

About the Author

From humble beginnings as a bisexual art kid who drank more coffee than a 40-year-old author, Remy now holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and is a proud member of the HorrorBuzz team (and still a bisexual art kid who drinks too much coffee). They were first introduced to the world of horror and camp when their grandma showed them The Rocky Horror Picture Show at age 5, and never looked back. When they're not writing cartoons or working on movies, one can spot them in various clubs around Los Angeles performing very, very self-deprecating standup comedy. Howdy ho!
