Quibi, the mobile-first media technology platform, has given the greenlight to ‘TOMIE’ based on the hit horror manga series of the same name. TOMIE is the story of a beautiful high school girl (Adeline Rudolph) who goes missing and pieces of her body are discovered scattered around a small town. But what starts out as a murder mystery turns into something even more horrific.
The new series will be directed by none other than Alexandre Aja (High Tension). An exciting talent, Aja recently wowed us with CRAWL and the tongue-in-cheek splatter fest Piranha 3D. The show will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Aquaman) and produced by Sony Pictures Television and UCP. Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) is set to star.
