In an effort to safely expand capacity Universal CityWalk is now serving diners at newly expanded outdoor seating locations set up adjacent to several restaurants. Additional seating is also available at newly installed tables situated at “5 Towers,”.

Currently available dining options such as Antojitos Cocina MexicanaBubba Gump Shrimp CoJohnny RocketsPink’s Hot Dogs and sweet-tooth favorite Voodoo Doughnut, along with select shopping, including Dodgers Clubhouse, and the newly remodeled IT’SUGAR, offers CityWalk guests a thoughtfully safe option for getting out of the house. The Universal Studio Store is open near the entrance to Uni Hollywood Park to give those looking for a theme park fix some relief by selling a slate of new items representing the rides and attractions featured within the theme park as well as Universal Studios branded face coverings.

CityWalk is open daily from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. and includes complimentary self-parking during this initial reopening period, subject to change.  Please visit the Universal CityWalk website or the Universal Studios Hollywood mobile app for updated information and contact individual venues for hours.

We actually visited late one Tuesday afternoon and were surprised at the rigorous yet friendly protocol required to get into Universal CityWalk. After going through the regular parking gates and being handed a free parking pass, each guest is guided to the structures and funneled to one of several entry points into CityWalk. After a quick non-touch temperature check, you are allowed to enter wearing a face mask at all times (except for when you are eating of course). We really did feel safe.
