Indie films, in particular horror, is something that we love. Filmmaker Jon Kondelik reached out to us earlier this year to share a little project he is working on and we thought we would share it with you. Touted as a psychological shark movie, From the Depths sets up some hefty expectations. We’ve had shark tornados, but, mind sharks? Here is the poster, trailer, and synopsis.

Synopsis: After surviving a shark attack a young woman is plagued by nightmares of being stalked in the dark sea by a ravenous predator, and hallucinations of visits from her sister and boyfriend, both who were killed in the attack.

The film is a psychological shark thriller with hints of comedy. Imagine if the producers of Sharknado hired David Lynch to make a shark thriller in 7 days with 30k. This film will be out in 2020. Screening dates will come later this summer.

From the Depths is directed by Jose Montesinos and stars Angelica Briones, Terra Strong, Marissa Godinez.

We expect the film to be released in the later quarter of 2020.
