Nobody puts baby(sitter) in the corner! Netflix’s hit film The Babysitter officially has a sequel coming! The Babysitter: Killer Queen is the next chapter in this gloriously gory dark comedy. Cole may have survived his babysitter’s homicidal cult, but old acquaintances are unearthed and evil is unleashed. Can Cole escape death twice? Or will he bow to the Killer Queen?

Synopsis: Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole continues to be haunted by the horrific events of that night. Everyone in his life thinks he has lost his mind since Bee and all of her friends disappeared, making Cole’s story hard to believe. He is still hopelessly smitten with his best friend and next door neighbor Melanie – the only one who believes his story – who convinces him to forget the past and come to a party thrown at a nearby lake. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil and survive the night.

Well I am excited for this second installment to say the least. Babysitter: Killer Queen is a sequel to The Babysitter which premiered on Netflix back in 2017. Now almost three years later, the cast is back for more! The writers, director, and cast found their footing in the first film and now we get to see the story really go wild in the second chapter. Samara Weaving will not return as the murderous babysitter, Bee, but all is not lost. It looks like this film will be even more campy/wacky/cheeky than the first, and since the groundwork was laid in the first film…getting extra crazy is exactly what will make this film as good as (if not better than) the original.

Written by Dan Lagana, Brad Morris, Jimmy Warden, and written/directed by McG, The Babysitter: Killer Queen stars Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Jenna Ortega, Robbie Amell, Andrew Bachelor, Leslie Bibb, Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, Ken Marino, Chris Wylde, Carl McDowell, Juliocesar Chavez, Maximilian Acevedo, Jennifer Foster, and Helen Hong. The film premieres on Netflix on September 10.
