The third issue of Boobs and Blood magazine is available now! This young publication is described as “an unapologetic celebration of all things psychotronic” with creator Miles Flanagan further clarifying:  “Essentially we’re a serious publication, with a damn silly name…I’ve always loved glossy magazines and wanted to create one that was both beautifully designed and written, yet covered not fashion but obscure and current exploitation culture from around the globe.”

What’s more, all profits for Boobs and Blood #3 are to be donated to the (incredibly apt) Keep a Breast Foundation! Flanagan cites fundraising for cancer research as the reason for not only the magazine’s publication but for the founding of the now ten-years-running Boobs and Blood Film Festival. “It was because I, and many people close to me, had personally experienced how this awful disease affects not only individuals but also family and friends. Because of that, I wanted to do whatever I could, however small, to help. And the KEEP A BREAST organization is an amazing group, who also love what I do too.”

So, what can you expect from the new issue? The creators have been kind enough to provide a list of key features to be found in B&B #3:

  • An exclusive and personally revealing interview with cult exploitation actress and model Christine Nguyen
  • An in-depth interview (by celebrated author & journalist Pat Jankiewicz) with the only female horror host to go national since Elvira,  Ivonna Cadaver
  • Rare images of Philip Castle’s art for A Clockwork Orange
  • A feature on  the no-holds-barred erotic artwork of talented Morgan Wilson (aka Lux Nova)
  • The second part of a comprehensive interview with U.K. publishing legend Dez Skinn of V For Vendetta, House of Hammer, and Monster Mag fame
  • An interview with independent producer/director Christine Parker that delves into how filmmakers finance, produce and get distribution for their passion projects

It really looks like this magazine might have something for everyone, even if the branding isn’t quite your speed. Boobs & Blood Magazine can be purchased exclusively online here, and for a limited time you can download digital editions of the first 2 issues for free on the same page! Take a look at what you’ll find inside if you still aren’t sure. Warning for minor nudity, because duh, the title is pretty clear:
