Horror movies are no slouch when it comes to an original score. Some of the most iconic pieces of music come from the most terrifying films ever made. Halloween, The Exorcist, Jaws, to name a few easily send shivers down moviegoer’s spines. Today we have the privilege of sharing an exclusive look at another entry into the horror movie score cannon.

THE CALL is arriving tomorrow nationwide theatrically and at Drive-Ins. Starring the inimitable Lin Shaye and the iconic Tobin Bell in a terrifying tale of death from the fall of 1987. After a tragic accident, a group of small-town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple. One by one, their worst nightmares quickly become reality as they enter the realm of THE CALL. Four Friends. One Phone Call. 60 Seconds. Stay Alive.

Here composer Samuel Joseph Smythe is giving us two creepy tracks to savor before the release of the new film tomorrow. He also scored Timothy Woodward Jr.’s previous horror film “The Final Wish”. The Call is being released October 2 in theaters and drive-ins. Attached is the film’s poster and still. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again!!
