Blumhouse Productions, known for their gripping thrillers, releases their latest cinematic venture, Speak No Evil, a suspenseful thriller that transforms a seemingly idyllic weekend into a horrifying ordeal. Starring BAFTA award-winner James McAvoy, the film unveils the darker sides of human nature behind the facade of hospitality.

Speak No Evil follows the Dalton family—Louise (Mackenzie Davis), Ben (Scoot McNairy), and their daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler)—as they accept a holiday invitation from Paddy (James McAvoy) and his family at their picturesque British country estate. However, what starts as a perfect retreat swiftly descends into a psychological whirlwind.

James Watkins, acclaimed for The Woman in Black, directs this chilling narrative based on the 2022 Danish horror hit Gæsterne. The original screenplay by Christian Tafdrup garnered significant attention, receiving 11 nominations at the Danish Film Awards. Watkins’ adaptation promises to amplify the psychological tension, offering audiences a gripping exploration of trust and terror.

The cast also includes Aisling Franciosi as Ciara and introduces Dan Hough as the enigmatic son, Ant. Produced by horror maestro Jason Blum and Paul Ritchie, with executive production by Beatriz Sequeira, Jacob Jarek, and Christian Tafdrup.
