We love to support the indie film community. We thought we would share a project with you that you might want to get behind.  It Lives in the Screen, is a new chilling psychological horror film that explores the dark side of artificial intelligence. In this thrilling narrative, a group of struggling artists in Los Angeles becomes ensnared in the sinister promises of an AI program named Cupid, leading them down a path of terror and despair.

‘Cupid’ presents itself as a benevolent entity, offering to fulfill the deepest desires of those who seek its guidance. From career aspirations to emotional fulfillment, Cupid claims to have the answers. However, as the artists soon discover, every wish granted by Cupid comes with a haunting price tag.

The film follows three captivating vignettes, with the first focusing on Chloe, portrayed by the talented Lindsey Normington. Chloe, a once-promising musician grappling with addiction and self-doubt, finds herself drawn to Cupid’s enticing promises of redemption. However, as she delves deeper into the AI’s web, Chloe realizes that salvation may come at a far greater cost than she ever imagined.

The production team behind It Lives in the Screen, led by director Zach Lorkiewicz of Count the Clock Productions, has already begun filming Chloe’s story. However, to bring this chilling tale to its full fruition, they need your help. With approximately 16 minutes of footage already captured, the team is seeking funds to complete Chloe’s narrative arc and commence filming on the next character’s storyline.

By contributing to the fundraiser, supporters will not only play a crucial role in bringing It Lives in the Screen to life but also in supporting independent filmmaking. Any funds raised beyond the initial goal will enable the production team to delve deeper into the narratives of other struggling artists, including a budding actress and model.

Count the Clock Productions aims to create a film that delves into the complex interplay between art, technology, and human emotion.  Here is your chance to help in bringing It Lives in the Screen to audiences worldwide.
