Universal Studios Hollywood announced the return of The Weeknd to Halloween Horror Nights with an all-new haunted house experience, The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy. The event will also feature Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse and celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood will kick off on Thursday, September 5, and run through select nights until Sunday, November 3. Horror fans can expect a shocking line-up of haunted houses and experiences, with this year’s highlights featuring The Weeknd’s return, Blumhouse Productions’ popular horror films, and a special tribute to Leatherface.

After his successful collaboration in 2022 with The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare, inspired by his After Hours album, The Weeknd returns with The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy. This haunted house promises an immersive and authentic horror experience with music scored by seven-time Grammy® award winner Mike Dean.

The exclusive Terror Tram returns with Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, taking guests on a terrifying journey through Blumhouse’s iconic franchises, including M3GAN, The Black Phone, Freaky, The Purge, and Happy Death Day. Additionally, the R.I.P. Tour offers themed photo ops and exclusive access to the Jupiter’s Claim set from the hit film Nope.

Celebrating 50 years of terror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface brings an all-new storyline set in an abandoned slaughterhouse. Visitors will face the various incarnations of Leatherface from the franchise’s nine films, dodging his relentless chainsaw at every turn.

Other notable experiences include The Purge: Dangerous Waters, set in the WaterWorld venue, and multiple scare zones such as Luchadores Monstruosos, Chainsaw Punkz, Skull Lordz, and Murder of Crowz. Previously announced haunted houses include A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, Insidious: The Further, Monstruous 2: The Nightmares of Latin America, and Dead Exposure: Death Valley.

Horror enthusiasts and film aficionados can now mark their calendars for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, as tickets are now on sale. The event kicks off on Thursday, September 5 and continues on select nights until Sunday, November 3. Visitors will experience eight brand-new haunted houses, numerous chilling scare zones, and the famed Terror Tram.
