Team17 Digital and astragon Entertainment have announced the release of the physical Deluxe Edition of CONSCRIPT, a survival horror game set during World War 1, developed by Catchweight Studio and solo developer Jordan Mochi. The Deluxe Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch™ ($34.99 / £29.95 RRP) and PlayStation®5 ($29.99 / £26.99 RRP), offering players a deeper dive into the grim trenches of the Battle of Verdun in 1916.
In CONSCRIPT, players assume the role of a French soldier searching for his missing brother amidst the chaos of war. The game blends classic survival-horror mechanics, such as scavenging for limited resources and solving environmental puzzles, with the unique atmosphere of a World War 1 battlefield. The Deluxe Edition includes two digital DLC packs: the ‘Golden Gun Pack,’ featuring a gold-plated Mauser C96 pistol, and the ‘Trench Raider Pack,’ offering three additional character uniforms—‘Elite Trench Raider,’ ‘Pilot,’ and ‘English Tommy.’
With its pixel art aesthetics and immersive sound design, CONSCRIPT delivers a survival experience that draws heavily from genre classics while adding historical context and challenging gameplay. The game offers multiple difficulty levels and endings, ensuring high replayability.
