Terror Films Releasing has announced its partnership with The Ninth House and Code 3 Films to produce Restitution, a new revenge-driven horror film set for global release on October 4, 2024. Directed by Danny Draven, known for Patient Seven and Bad CGI Gator, the film is based on an original screenplay by Mark Allen, whose previous works include Delirium and Early Grave.

Restitution follows the story of Mia Wagner (played by Coél Mahal), the sole survivor of a brutal serial killer who murdered her family. After the killer is released due to a legal technicality, Mia decides to seek her own form of justice, leading to a sequence of violent and terrifying events. The film’s cast also includes Chris Gann, James Black, and Jonathan Shores.

This marks the first original production from Terror Films Releasing since its launch in 2016, following the success of other projects like The Chosen, Trace, and the anthology Patient Seven, which featured stars such as Michael Ironside and Doug Jones.

Produced by Autumn Federici, James Black, and Jake Helgren of The Ninth House, Restitution is expected to be available on platforms like Amazon, Tubi TV, Apple TV, Chilling, and Kings of Horror.

Director Danny Draven spoke about the project, stating, “Restitution is a journey of revenge and the dark consequences that come with it.” The film promises to explore the emotional and psychological toll of revenge, offering horror fans a fresh take on the genre.
