Los Angeles has become the stage for a shocking promotional campaign for Ryan Kruger’s upcoming reimagining of Street Trash. Grisly scenes featuring melted arms clutching bottles of “Tenafly Viper,” a deadly fictional liquor, have appeared at iconic horror movie locations across the city. Each site is accompanied by colorful, grotesque ooze, tying into the film’s themes of gruesome body horror.

The locations chosen for the stunt include well-known horror landmarks such as:

  • Springfield High School from A Nightmare on Elm Street
  • House 1 from Insidious
  • Fight Alley from They Live
  • The Sorority House from Night of the Creeps

The new Street Trash film, directed by Ryan Kruger (Fried Barry), will release on digital platforms on November 19, 2024. The same day, the original 1987 Street Trash will begin streaming on Screambox, introducing a new generation to the cult classic.

Kruger co-wrote the film with James C. Williamson, drawing inspiration from the original by Roy Frumkes and J. Michael Muro. This reimagining promises to revisit its predecessor’s gritty, chaotic energy while bringing a fresh perspective to its gory narrative.
