Hulu’s latest original film, Control Freak, is set to premiere March 13. The psychological horror story comes from writer-director Shal Ngo, recognized for his work on The Park, The Box, and The Last Fisherman.
Control Freak follows a motivational speaker tormented by an unrelenting itch on the back of her head. The film stars Kelly Marie Tran, Miles Robbins, Toan Le, and Kieu Chinh, weaving a tense exploration of perception and paranoia. Based on Ngo’s short film Control from Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween series, the feature was developed by WorthenBrooks for Hulu Originals, with David Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian, and Jenna Cavelle as producers, Shaum S. Sengupta and Miles Alva as executive producers, and Hatuey Rodriguez as co-producer.
Mark your calendars for March 13 and prepare for a deeply immersive tale that questions how far one might go to find relief—and control.
