ALLELUIA! The sequel to The Devil’s Carnival is Traveling SOON!
Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich bring the Carnival back to LIFE! The duo recently have announced tour dates for the screening of this anticipated horror/musical sequel.
For those of you who are curious, the original The Devil’s Carnival was released in 2012. It’s a horror musical about 3 souls who go to hell, which ends up being a Carnival filled with the damned who sing about their sins. It is a spooky film, with fun and memorable musical numbers.
In the sequel, Alleluia!, Lucifer has a plan to attack heaven with his damned souls, and like the 1st film, it will be filled with mayhem and musical numbers.
This will be Bousmans’s and Zdunich’s 3rd horror musical together. Starting with their first collaboration, REPO! The Genetic Opera, the pair have been creating horror movie musicals and touring them across the United States.
It is a unique experience, where they travel to select theaters, and have a “one night only” show. At each screening, they have an opening act, an introduction to the movie with Bousman and Zdunich, screen the film, and then end with a live Q&A session with the filmmakers. Attendees are ENCOURAGED to go to the screenings in costumes, sing-a-long with the film, and “participate” with the spooky happenings.
The tour begins August 11th, with the world premiere of the film at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, and ending October 18th back in Los Angeles, CA. They are selling tickets now for all the screenings. You can choose general admission, or the VIP package, where you can meet Bousman and Zdunich after the show. You can find all the screening dates, locations and prices on their website in the link below.
Thank you for joining me on this journey to Hell and visiting The Devil’s Carnival! I hope to see you fiends soon In The Dark!
