Weekends now through Halloween (excluding October 22nd), California’s Great America has transformed the Planet Snoopy area into an homage to everything Great Pumpkin and Halloween! The park opens at 10am but after you’ve taken a few spins on the double decker “Carousel Columbia,” gather up your little monsters and head over to Pumpkin Fest.

A Bay Area favorite, The Great Pumpkin Fest is host to a hay maze, mini pumpkin decorating, costumed trick or treating and “The Great Pumpkin” story being read aloud to little ghouls and goblins.

The Great Pumpkin Fest also includes a foam pit dance party, a chance to color your favorite Peanuts characters and the Halloween classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” playing continuously in Planet Snoopy.

Guests can enjoy the Great Pumpkin Fest  from 12-4 and all of these fun activities are included with admission. 

While the Great Pumpkin Fest is geared for younger guests, California’s Great America has 100 acres of family entertainment. From thrill rides for your older kids (Demon is my favorite) and 14 rides in Planet Snoopy for your little ones, take some time to enjoy the Halloween celebration at California’s Great America!
