John Krasinski, once stuck in a cubicle among the cast of The Office, has branched out, to direct his own horror thriller, A Quiet Place. Due in theaters April 6th the film stars, Krasinski and Emly Blunt as a couple raising a family in an isolated existence. In utter silence, the family lives in fear of an unknown threat that follows and attacks at any sound.

The film is produced by Michael Bay (“TRANSFORMERS”), and his Platinum Dunes’ partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller ( “OUIJA”, “THE PURGE”, “THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE”), from a spec script by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck which was rewritten by John Krasinski.
