Blue Fox Entertainment has released a new trailer, poster, and stills to announce their upcoming psycho-thriller BRAID. The film stars Madeline Brewer(The Handmaid’s Tale, CAM), Imogen Waterhouse (NOCTURNAL ANIMALS, The Outpost) and Sarah Hay (Flesh and Bone, BLACK SWAN) and will be opening in North American theaters and On Demand February 1, 2019. It was directed and written by first-time director Mitzi Peirone and premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and was hailed “one of the most eye-opening and wickedly singular genre film debuts in years.”

Synopsis: Two wanted women decide to rob their wealthy yet mentally unstable friend who lives in a fantasy world they all created as children. To take her money, the girls must take part in a deadly and perverse game of make-believe throughout a sprawling yet decaying estate. As things become increasingly violent and hallucinatory, they realize that obtaining the money may be the least of their concerns.

"Braid" - Official Theatrical Trailer (Red Band)

The trailer is captivating. The story itself is intriguing and mysterious. You have enough of an idea of what is going on to draw you in and make you want to see the film, and yet so little is actually revealed about the plot so going into the film it’s unlikely that any really interesting plot points or twists have been given away.

For more information on the film and cast, you can visit the official Braid website. Prepare to enter this mysterious home on February 1, 2019 via movie theaters or On Demand. To survive just remember the three house rules. One. Everyone must play. Two. No outsiders allowed. Three. No one leaves.
