The crew of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but it is actually a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the synthetic David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
ALIEN: COVENANT Redband Trailer is here!
Merry bloody Christmas kids! Literally! Fox just dropped a blood-drenched, Red Band trailer for ALIEN: COVENANT and we are ecstatic! Directed by Ridley Scott, written by John Logan with a story by Michael Green and Jack Paglen, ALIEN: COVENANT picks up with David (Michael Fassbender) as the sole survivor on a deserted planet. The trailer wastes no time in pulling us back to the claustrophobic tunnels and hallways that visually dovetail into Scott’s 1979 Alien original. A gloriously nasty clip shows us a new version of how the aliens burst from their host and we soon see the pristine paradise that idiot humans decide to explore. What is notable here is that while the film appears to have the same impeccable art direction and look of any Scott movie, he has seems to know what made the original so genuinely wonderful. We have the mix of the precise look and almost clinical execution of shots with the savage, handheld, manic scenes. Please. Please do not let this suck.
ALIEN: COVENANT will be released May 19th 2017
