A Haunting Journey into the Past
Angel of Light is set in the glamorous era of Old Hollywood in 1935. Guests will find themselves at the Los Angeles Theatre to witness Rota K. Preston’s debut vocal performance. Little do they know that on this fateful evening, the ancient Angel of Light curse will be awakened, plunging them into a world of chaos and terror. This immersive experience seamlessly blends live performances, elaborate sets, and intricate artistry to create an unparalleled horror adventure.
Cutting-Edge Technology Meets Live Theater
What sets Angel of Light apart is its innovative use of technology. Attendees will be transported deep into the past with the power of Dolby Atmos sound, projection mapping, shifting lights and music, and power strobe lights. Over the course of 60 intense minutes, guests will explore various immersive spaces, including underground catacombs, theater dressing rooms, a grand ballroom inhabited by eerie and demonic characters, and the LED Possession Cube room, where you’ll witness mind-bending images and footage from inside Rota’s mind. The experience culminates in a spine-tingling live performance by Rota in the main theater that will leave an indelible mark on your psyche.
Unraveling the Dark Backstory
The tale of Angel of Light unfolds in the early nineteenth century when a cursed girl named Rota Krisha plagued a small rural village. In a desperate attempt to rid themselves of the evil presence, villagers turn to Father Nicolai, a priest known for his “spiritual sound healing.” However, their efforts take a sinister turn when Satan himself is unleashed, resulting in a cataclysm of horror. Rota escapes to America and marries a sound engineer in Los Angeles, leading to a chilling turn of events.
A Prequel to the Upcoming Film “Hex”
Angel of Lightserves as a prequel to the highly anticipated 2025 film, “Hex,” part of an anthology from Parma Pictures. Chris Anastas, co-founder of SoundFi and creator of “Hex,” collaborates with Mark Binder, renowned sound designer and re-recording mixer. This collaboration introduces a fresh fictional universe, the beginning of an “unholy anthology” centered around a mysterious cursed character.
A Truly Immersive Horror Experience
Mark Binder, Angel of Light Co-Creator, states, “From our original recordings of late 20s and 30’s music to the unique custom soundscape creation that spans over 30 rooms of audio, which includes notable Dolby Atmos experiences, audiences will delve into the chilling depths of horror and be immersed in a world that blurs the line between reality and nightmares.”
