Goths, steam punk, industrial, rockabilly, psychobilly, and everyone who loves to be spooky come from all over for a weekend of fun around and at Disneyland. From their Swinging Wake to their Bats Day Fun in the Park, all these people gather for the love of the macabre and Disney. This article will be covering the Bats Day Black Market in the Sheraton Hotel… if you wish to read the coverage on the Bats Day Fun in the Park then click on the link below. But for now…let’s fly bats to the Black Market!

This is the second event in the Bats Day weekend and it took place on May 30th this year. Bats Day Black Market returned this year for it’s 11th year. The Sheraton Hotel was filled with many Bats throughout the day and into the late evening. The Black Market is where vendors can sell spooky items that you can only purchase at events where ghouls gather.

There was also the Gallery 999, a mini art show where artists can display their artwork inspired by The Haunted Mansion. No pictures will be displayed here because the Gallery is something to experience… it returns every year with the Black Market. But here is Joseline of the “Bat’s Day Crew” being wonderfully ghoulish in the gallery.

Many of the Bats come dressed up in their awesome outfits and costumes. Unlike the Bats Day Fun in the Park, you do not have to purchase a ticket for this event, unless you want early entry then it would be $5 a person. So the Bats who cannot make it to Disney the next day can still enjoy the Bats Day festivities at the Black Market.

From the young and the old, this is an all ages event too, like the Bats Day Fun in the Park. There is so much to see here at the Black Market from the vendors, Cig Neutron creating monsters, a DJ playing terrifying music, the raffle and socializing amongst the ghouls who come out to the Black Market.

There are many vendors from scary props for your home or haunt, spooky clothing, accessories, and many other scary items.
