From Multicom Entertainment Group comes Blood is Blood, the first ever digital original under its new horror channel banner, ThrillGoreTV. The newly-released trailer certainly raises some highbrows, with a combination of high suspense, Psycho-esque family dysfunction and…origami? Okay, didn’t see that one coming, but you’ve got my attention. A tale of sibling rivalry, Japanese folklore, and time-shifting madness, Blood is Blood is the story of tensions erupting in a family as new blood enters the fold.

For privileged siblings Brie, Daniel, Crew and Jess family has always come first. But when Crew (Danile DiTomasso) invites his girlfriend Sara (Kate French) into the family, distrust begins to bubble between the siblings. Brie is convinced she’s being replaced and resents this new woman in Crew’s life. Until the new he attempts to murder her. Alas, as these things tend to go, no one believes her, and she gets shipped off to the asylum where hallucinations of the event continue to taunt her. Fearing for her life, Brie flees the facility. In a frantic attempt to return to her remaining siblings and warn them, Brie begins to uncover a trail of gory, sinister secrets that leads her to question whether she knows her family as well as she thought.

Blood is Blood is available on Digital HD and VOD everywhere September 1st and stars Fiona Dourif (Curse of Chucky), Andrew James Allen, Daniel DiTomasso, Kate French, Caitlin Harris, Teni Panosian and comes to us from first-time writer/director Stuart Sauvarin.
