A guy dressed in camouflage print and a possessed doll confront in a paranormal battle filled with stabbing, biting and chest-popping. What are their motives? I have no clue but I was fully entertained by the nonsense happening for two-and-a-half minutes. This is what Camo vs Genevieve is— a short story about what seems to be a long rivalry.
Nicholas Michael Jacobs (writer, director, producer and actor) presents a combination of horror, comedy and indie slasher with a dash of professionalism. Each angle, whether it’s presented as panoramic view or POV, it’s crafted beautifully with the right amount of lighting and keeping all close-ups clean enough to appreciate the picture.
Camo vs Genevieve is ridiculously silly but very well done. To me it didn’t make any sense but I guess there must be a back-story for it since it’s about two enemies meeting for a final battle unless it’s a constant showdown like the old strips of Spy vs. Spy. The short will be available on YouTube starting May 1st.
