A new blend of horror and dark humor arrives this March with Cannibal Comedian. Cineverse, along with its SCREAMBOX platform under Bloody Disgusting, has partnered with Scream Team Releasing to distribute Sean Haitz’s film in North America. The story centers on a psychopath who seeks success in stand-up comedy while continuing his deadly pursuits.
Starring Aaron Prager, Austin Judd, Robert Dunne, and featuring The Texas Chain Saw Massacre alumni Allen Danziger and Edwin Neal, Cannibal Comedian has already received recognition on the festival circuit. It will be available on HD Blu-ray and VHS on March 1, followed by a March 4 digital release on platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play. On the same day, fans can also stream it exclusively on SCREAMBOX, supported by Bloody Disgusting.
