From the director that brought you Ice Age and Robots, Chris Wedge presents his first live action film-“Monster Trucks”
Tripp (Lucas Till) is a high school senior who has pieced together a Monster Truck and is looking for a way to get out of the town he grew up in. Cue the adorable, subterranean, kid friendly creature, “Creech,” which had his former underground residence destroyed by an oil drilling accident. Tripp discovers the tentacled creature and Creech discovers a love for going fast. Creech just may be Tripp’s ticket out of town. Their unlikely friendship is sure to be heartwarming with a lot of monster truck stunts thrown in to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Mixing practical and computer generated effects, “Monster Trucks” promises to be action packed, family fun on the big screen. A mix of established talent along with up and coming actors include, Lucas Till, Janey Levy (Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe), Rob Lowe, Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone) and Danny Glover.
