Showdown Mode, begin: Mimimi Games has released a new explanation trailer for Desperados III, where players can learn more details about the highly anticipated tactical stealth game. Desperados III will be available on June 16th, 2020, through PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Synopsis: This explanation trailer goes through some of the details that you, the player, can expect to see when you play this game. First, we are introduced to the key players:

• John Cooper himself, the leader of the team. This drifting gunslinger is on a quest for redemption, and can take out enemies either using his signature duel revolvers, or with a quiet backstab with his knife.
• Hector Mendoza, who favors his giant bear trap and his trusty axe. This strongman is not to be trifled with.
• Doc McCoy is a shady hitman, whose methodical tactics include lures and knockout gas, specialized for non-lethal attacks.
• Kate O’Hara, the runaway bride, can captivate enemies by wearing the right outfit, and then covertly take a shot with her hidden gun.
• Isabelle Moreau is a mysterious woman from New Orleans, who uses jinxes and poison darts to manipulate her enemies.

Throughout the trailer, we also learn of some more features in the game, such as the enemies’ view cones and how they work, how enemies can trigger alarms if the player’s strategy isn’t quite conspicuous enough, and Showdown Mode. Showdown Mode allows players to “pause” the game in order to plan their strategy and execute complex attacks with all members of the team, then going back to real-time to complete these tasks.

Review of Trailer: All of this added information from the creators gives us more of an idea of the potential for intricate approaches. Examples are shown of going full rogue in an attempt to sneak your way through obstacles, using the environmental hazards around you to attack enemies to seem like an accident, or just creating a full-on shootout. The team must travel through mountains, swamps, deserts, and more, creating a huge world where all sorts of different methods can be implemented.
