The new documentary KIM DOTCOM: Caught In The Web on the Most Wanted Man Online will make its world premiere at SXSW Film Festival in the Documentary Spotlight. Directed by Annie Goldson and produced by Alexander Behse featuring Moby, Jonathan Zittrain, Greg Sandoval, Glenn Greenway, Jimmy Wales, Mike Masnick, Cyrus Farivar, Steve Fabrizio, and much more.

Three years of filmmaking chronicling a fantastic moment in global online history. It is dubbed the ‘largest copyright case’ ever and this is the truth about what happened.

MegaUpload, tech entrepreneur owner of the popular cloud service, Kim Dotcom arrived in New Zealand with his family in late 2010. Wanting a ‘quiet life’ he rented the largest mansion he could find, threw parties, raves, concerts and gifted $500,00 fireworks to a city in Auckland. Then it all fell. One day in January 2012, 70 heavily armed and helmeted New Zealand police stormed Dotcom’s home. They arrested him along with three “coders” on a long list of serious charges relating to allege copyright infringement by MegaUpload. Out on bail, he continues to plow forward.
