DROP, the latest thriller from director Christopher Landon, will be releasing in theaters on April 11. Jointly produced by Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes, the film follows Violet (Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy), a widowed mother on a first date that spirals into a disturbing ordeal. An unseen troll targets Violet’s phone with escalating threats, forcing her into perilous decisions to protect her child and sister.

Brandon Sklenar (It Ends with Us) portrays Henry, the seemingly charming companion whose evening with Violet turns into a terrifying test of loyalty. The ensemble also features Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) and newcomer Jacob Robinson, alongside Reed Diamond (Moneyball), Gabrielle Ryan (Power Book IV: Force), Jeffery Self (Mack & Rita), Ed Weeks (The Mindy Project), and Travis Nelson (The Lake).

Known for Happy Death Day and We Have a Ghost, Christopher Landon directs from a script by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach, the writing team behind Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare and Fantasy Island. DROP’s production lineup includes Jason Blum (Five Nights at Freddy’s, M3GAN), Michael Bay (Transformers, A Quiet Place), Brad Fuller (A Quiet Place, The Purge), and Cameron Fuller (The Astronaut).
