Prepare to question everything, for nothing is as it seems in the toxically beautiful world of Another Nail in the Coffin, the latest work of up-and-coming playwright and director Jacksyn Ivy Jayne. The renowned Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group welcomes you to step inside a seemingly innocent nail salon hiding a bloody secret that will challenge the audience to reckon with the guttural, grim world of female rage, full of dance, brawls, screams, and of course, manicurists.

The wicked women of the Fragile Feline Salon are dying to meet you, but in Another Nail in the Coffin, this spa day will be far from relaxing. The horrific yet seductive cult of “The Sisterhood” beckons you to join their radical cause, to bring an end to the male species, but what happens when secrets between the girls cause a rift in their mission, and the consequences are lethal. Who will you side with? And how far is too far? Modern-day feminist issues meet slasher horror in this one-of-a-kind piece; camp, queerness and guts galore are what’s in store for this.
