Fantastic Fest is sure to be well……fantastic! With the second wave of films announced, this line-up of films is sure to captivate all in attendance. Fantastic Fest boasts exclusive premieres, Spanish language genre cinema, returning alumni to premiere their latest movies, first-time directors debuting original titles, amazing unseen retro films, with this year to include an expansion focus on podcasts. Alongside fest regulars Leonard Maltin and Doug Benson, Fantastic Fest will include April Wolfe’s incisive Switchblade Sisters for an episode of the popular show.

Possibly the most anticipated film of Fantastic Fest will be the U.S. Premiere of David Gordon Green’s razor-sharp new contribution to the HALLOWEEN canon with legendary actor Jamie Lee Curtis-along with HALLOWEEN producers Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block in attendance! Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Winner of this year’s Un Certain Regard at Cannes Film Festival, BORDER is coming to Fantastic Fest and as a special treat, Fantastic Fest will also present a singular, open-air screening experience of BORDER in an intimate outdoor venue, paired with exclusive cocktails and accompanied by a lavish multi-course meal crafted by Alamo Drafthouse Chef Brad Sorenson.
