We got our first look at writer-director Rob Zombie’s cinematic take on The Munsters and so far so good. Leaning heavily on nostalgia, the teaser mimics the opening of the classic television show right down to the black and white photography and a playful parade of loveable monsters. Jeff Daniel Phillips first comes on screen as Herman Munster, followed by Sheri Moon Zombie as Lillian Munster. Last but not least is Grandpa Munster played by Daniel Roebuck.

Rounding out the cast are a host of horror icons including Cassandra Peterson as Barbara Carr, Dee Wallace as the Good Morning Transylvania Host, Richard Brake
as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, and even original series alum Pat Priest in an unnamed role.

The film will be released in the fall of 2022 by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.
