Paranormal activity is something that people always report from derelict and abandoned places. Most often locations that are connected to historical battlefields, and places where significant amounts of death had taken place. These destinations then tend to hold onto lingering souls that perhaps have become lost on their way through passing over, and therefore unexpectedly pop out and scare people who happen to just be passing through these locations. However, the funny thing is that, even locations that once had been demolished and built over, will still very much hold the presence of those lost souls and therefore make even the newest of buildings ‘haunted’.

Some of the best casinos found across the globe have actually been reported to share tales of unexplainable events that felt eerie and rather spooky. These locations are the ones we will be visiting today, filling you in on all the haunted activity that has been reported over the years.

If you spook super easily, then it may be best that you click here and head on over to some virtual online casinos instead, so you can still get your casino fix, with the scare. They have some really creepy slots that you can play. Some of our top rated spooky slots are “Leprechaun Goes to Hell”, which needs no explanation as to what that entails. There’s also “Wicked Tales: Dark Red”, which is a chilling revisited bloody curdling account of Little Red Riding Hood (one that may ruin your childhood!) and finally, “Blood Suckers 2”, a vampire tale full of fangs and flesh!

Bally’s Casino

This casino, located within Las Vegas, caused a lot of stir for the paranormal activity experienced here. Every gambler who loves to gamble within Vegas, will know of the MGM fire which occurred some time ago. Bally’s casino was once called MGM, and during the tragedy, it is believed that there were two recorded deaths at the time.

Shortly after the grand reopening of the new casino Bally’s, it appeared that two vague figures had appeared within the centre of the playing hall itself. These two figures were later identified as ghosts, which made guests panic massively and all storm out in a panic. For guests to start coming back inside, it took incredible calmness and effort from staff that worked in the casino. However, it would seem that the press around this matter only made the issue bigger. More and more ‘ghost hunters’ came to try and capture the ghosts on screen, and that is exactly what happened. After a few weeks of the opening, two ghosts were photographed, and believed to be the same ones that were witnessed by so many on opening week. The ghost did become spotted less frequently within the casino, however every once in a while, it is believed that hotel guests staying at the casino have spotted the same vague figures and guests once more.

Bellagio

The Bellagio is yet another casino located within Vegas. This casino was also rebranded and reworked for the sake of marketing and appealing to the market’s competition. However, just before the period of rebranding, casino guests began to complain of a cold chill they felt when staying in the hotel compartment of the site. Even though the windows were closed, many guests still complained of a very strong cold, in addition to moving curtains, without a draft. It was not until witnesses said that they saw blue spots appear on the walls of the casino (in broad daylight) that most guests screamed out in a panic similar to Bally’s casino.

The scare that occurred to both staff and guests meant that nobody returned to entertain themselves within the casino. For that very reason, chief executives and management of the casino all agreed that the casino must be rebranded and started from scratch to have another try at building its reputation.

Excalibur

Paranormal activity at the Excalibur casino has long been recorded-since the 90s. The haunted aspect of this casino is contained within the tenth floor of the building, as back in the 90s, guests reported to hear blood chilling whispers that were so haunting, many guests could feel a cold breath brush past their neck. Furthermore, it is also stated by guests that the noise of footsteps walking along the corridor of the 10th floor, in addition to load stomping feet is undeniably so. It cannot be explained by any other phenomena, other than paranormal activity.

Guests have stayed for years and continued to do so, however historians are still baffled until today when looking into the history of the location. It is believed that there is no record of any mass killings, murders or accidents to have taken place here. For that reason, there is still no explanation on what is occurring on the tenth floor of the casino and why. While it was common knowledge that the casino was haunted, that in many ways heightened its popularity further, and gained more press for the casino.
