Los Angeles-based Epic Pictures, under its horror label DREAD, is set to release For Sale By Exorcist, a new horror-comedy directed by Melissa LaMartina. The film will be available on video-on-demand platforms beginning March 11, 2025. In addition, it will screen at the Nevermore Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina, on February 28 and March 1, with director LaMartina in attendance.

Executive produced by Ed Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project), the film combines comedic and supernatural elements in a mockumentary format. It follows Susan Price, a realtor and certified exorcist who flips haunted houses across the country. However, when she searches for her own property, the ghosts she previously removed return for revenge.

For Sale By Exorcist was co-written by Chris LaMartina (WNUF Halloween Special) and Rob Walker (The Hard Times). According to LaMartina, the story centers on community and finding a place for everyone — living or otherwise. Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald highlights the film’s blend of humor and horror, noting the creative efforts of the production team and their commitment to delivering an entertaining experience.
