Freestyle Digital Media, a division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired the North American VOD rights for Double Exposure, a supernatural thriller directed by Howard Goldberg. This film will be available to rent or purchase on digital HD internet platforms, cable, and satellite, as well as on DVD, starting February 18, 2025.
Double Exposure premiered at the Raindance Film Festival in London, where it was nominated for the Spirit of Raindance Award. The film is also set to screen at the Dances with Films-NY festival this December, further building its reputation within the indie film community.
The story follows Peter, a man haunted by his past. While on a tense call with his wife, Lora, about their troubled relationship, Peter experiences a flashback to a time when he met both his wife and his ex-girlfriend, Sara, a model who has since died. However, as Peter relives memories, Sara’s ghost begins to blur the lines between past and present, appearing to him with chilling consequences. This supernatural conflict pits Lora and Sara against one another in a battle over Peter’s fate, a struggle where survival and eternal reunion hang in the balance.
