Universal Studios brings cinematic terror to life with the debut of A Quiet Place themed haunted houses at their Halloween Horror Nights events in Orlando and Hollywood. Starting from August 30 in Orlando and September 5 in Hollywood, guests will immerse themselves in the harrowing world of Paramount Pictures’ hit films, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II. These unique attractions feature groundbreaking sound design, special effects, and performances that encapsulate the films’ notorious silence and tension.
Directed by John Krasinski and celebrated for its suspenseful narrative, the films center on the Abbott family’s struggle to survive in a world haunted by creatures that hunt by sound. Mirroring this, the haunted houses will integrate American Sign Language (ASL) to enhance the authenticity and inclusivity of the experience, a first for Halloween Horror Nights.
Attendees will navigate through iconic scenes, including the eerie farmhouse and a nerve-wracking root cellar scene, where silence is mandatory to avoid attracting the terrifying creatures lurking around every corner. Alongside the A Quiet Place experience, Universal Studios will also host a series of new haunted houses, scare zones, and live shows, available through various ticket options and vacation packages.
