Los Angeles’ popular immersive Halloween event, Night of the Jack, will return for its eighth season this fall at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. Running from Friday, September 26 through Saturday, November 1, the experience once again invites families, friends, and fans of seasonal traditions to explore its illuminated trail of pumpkins, lanterns, and immersive art.
Drawing more than 100,000 visitors annually, Night of the Jack has become a seasonal staple in Southern California. The 2025 event will feature over 30 new and reimagined installations, live pumpkin carving, interactive light displays, and projection mapping technology, creating a family-friendly experience that blends artistry with cutting-edge visuals.
Highlights for 2025 include a mile-long trail of glowing environments, multi-sensory experiences powered by pixel and projection technology, and hands-on activities like face painting and themed souvenirs. For adults, The Spookeasy offers themed cocktails, craft beer, premium wines, and seasonal favorites such as hot cider and cocoa. Guests can also enjoy food from popular Los Angeles food trucks, including Cousins Maine Lobster, Vivace Pizza, Baby’s Burgers, Cerda Vega Tacos, and The Twist Churro Truck.
Co-founder Ben Biscotti shared, “Every season, we push ourselves to outdo the last, and 2025 is no exception. This event has become so many families’ annual tradition, and we can’t wait to share all the surprises we have in store this year, including cutting-edge projection mapping and technology updates for brighter lights and wow factors.”
The event also ties back to Calabasas’ history, where local legend tells of pumpkins spilling from a rancher’s wagon in 1824 and sprouting along the road, inspiring the town’s name, “the place where the pumpkins fell.”
