Six Flags, the world’s largest regional theme park company, has recently unveiled its most ambitious Halloween event yet: Fright Fest Extreme, presented by SNICKERS. This year’s festival promises to deliver unparalleled thrills and chills, beginning shortly after Labor Day and running through November 3, 2024.
Fright Fest Extreme is set to feature an expansive lineup of terrifying horror franchises, ensuring an unforgettable experience for thrill-seekers and horror enthusiasts alike. The event’s centerpiece, Trick ’r Treat will be open at Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Over Texas starting early September and running through November 3, 2024. The walkthrough will offer a dark and twisted journey through a jack-o-lantern-lit path filled with supernatural encounters. Armed with a blood-stained candy bag, visitors will navigate 11 twisting paths, confronting fears as they encounter Principal Wilkins, evade vengeful spirits, and endure werewolf attacks under a full moon. The trail culminates in a chilling encounter with the guardian of All Hallows’ Eve, Sam.
Beyond the Candy Trail, guests can immerse themselves in the eerie worlds of Netflix’s Stranger Things and Army of The Dead, as well as Lionsgate’s SAW and Warner Bros. Discovery’s The Conjuring Universe. Six Flags Great Adventure will also debut a new experience centered around Legendary’s and Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre, while Six Flags Mexico introduces visitors to the dark world of DC Comics’ DCeased.
