The iconic Winchester Mystery House is set to thrill visitors once again with its highly anticipated Halloween event, Unhinged: Hotel. Running from Friday, September 13 through Sunday, November 2, this year’s event promises an entirely new storyline filled with fresh characters and terrifying surprises.

In this new chapter, visitors will find themselves stranded with car troubles, seeking refuge in a seemingly abandoned hotel. However, as they explore the darkened halls, they will soon discover they are not alone. This immersive maze will challenge guests to uncover the sinister secrets hidden within the hotel’s walls, with each twist and turn designed to deliver heart-pounding scares.

Walter Magnuson, Executive Director of Winchester Mystery House, expressed excitement for this year’s installment: “We are thrilled to bring another incredible chapter of ‘Unhinged‘ to life. Our collaboration with local artists ensures a uniquely eerie and captivating experience, transforming our historic mansion into a mesmerizing and chilling spectacle.”

Upon arrival, guests can enjoy themed food and drinks, visit a fortune teller, and capture spooky memories at various photo spots. The experience continues with a walkthrough of the house, featuring its infamous twists and turns, now enhanced with terrifying scares. The outdoor scare zone, The Mists, will also return, offering additional thrills on select nights.

Additionally, a Halloween Museum will be open starting September 13, showcasing a collection of vintage Halloween decor, artifacts, and memorabilia. This museum will be accessible both day and night, adding an educational and nostalgic element to the haunting experience.
