Do you have a background in classical art? Do you hold a bachelor’s degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design? Do you create ridiculous works of art with not only a paint brush, but with a tattoo gun? If your answer to all these questions is yes, then you’re the super talented artist, Evan Olin! Hi, Evan. I’m a big fan of your work! *wipes the brown off of my nose*
If you’re not, Evan Olin, then you probably won’t mind me boasting about how crazy good he is. Evan specializes in painterly/realistic style of tattooing. What are some of his favorite subjects to tattoo, you ask? Anything dark, or horror related. We can get onboard with that! Evan not only tattoo’s out of, Powerline Tattoo, in Road Island, but he also owns the joint. It must be good to be the king. Let’s take a look!
Color, color, color!
The ink almost looks alive.
One can understand why Eric is fully booked!
They’re creepy and I like it!
Texture and depth are strong with this tattoo Jedi.
So smooth!
So, readers? What did you think of Evan Olin’s work? We are pretty sure he sold his soul to the devil for these artistic super powers. It’s the only logical answer. Could someone get this good with hard work and dedication? Nah, we are pretty sure demonic intervention is at play here. We’re totally okay with that!
All jokes aside, you can tell that Evan is a freak of nature. Every piece he manifests, from subconscious to reality (on a canvas or human skin), you can bet it’s going to be a one of a kind. Everything he does is at a high, award winning calibur. The guy truly knows his stuff, and we are stoked to share it with all of you.
Well kiddos, that’s all the time we have for today. As always, make sure to use the #HorrorGramInk tag on your horror influenced tattoos. We’re dying to see your horror ink!
Scream ya, next week!
