If you’re anything like me, you’re probably really awesome. Sorry, not sorry. But really, if you are anything like me, you feel that itch in the back of your rotten brain. That, my friends, is our built in October-dar. Our own personal Halloween spidey-sense, if you will. Either that, or it’s a mind controlling worm that’s trying to bury itself into your brain stem. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Infact, if you’re finding the urge to vote for a certain billionaire turned pseudo-politician, you’re more than likely infected. Sorry, Charlie. If it’s the latter, we’re going to have to nickname you, “Old Yeller”, and lock you in the corn crib. But I digress, dear readers.
Halloween is only eight glorious months away! Who am I kidding… It feels like an eternity right now, and I’m hating every minute of it.
Oh, you too? See, I knew it. You are awesome (like me)! Okay, okay, enough high fives you fiends. Just take my cold dead hand, and Let’s try to sooth the slow, agonizing burn of the next eight months together and look at one of my favorite parts of Halloween. Pumpkin Spice Lattes!
Just kidding, you basic bitches. I’m talking about carving Pumpkins! Making jack o’lanterns! Yes, that time honored tradition that even a vegan could love. In this day and age, people have really stepped up their jack o’lantern game. Sure, we still love the traditional, “three triangle and a crooked mouth” carve that has become a national symbol for the Halloween season. Who doesn’t? Well, these aren’t your grandparents pumpkins! Let’s take a look.
It take’s a creative mind, and a steady hand to bring these jack o’lanterns to life. Wow, is definitely an understatement. It’s a shame these works of art don’t last long. But then again, there is a certain beauty in creating something, and watching it slowly rot away. Sounds like all of my relationships! but if that’s too jagged of a pill for you to swallow, there are foam pumpkins you can carve and keep around for as long as you want! Gross, I almost caught some feels..
Honestly, this is really helping my Halloween withdrawals. Lets look at some more!
Phew! I’m feeling a lot better, and the shakes are gone now. I’m sure the Halloween jones will be back, but at least these mind blowing pumpkins were a decent fix.
