Spring is coming to Knott’s Berry Farm and so is the Boysenberry Festival! The park is celebrating the berry that started it all, the boysenberry! Experience all things boysenberry from dishes, drinks, to so much more! Knott’s Berry Farm will have a plethora of entertainment during this Flavorful time!

The park has expanded the festival from two to three weeks starting April 1-23. The festival will feature more than 70 one-of-a-kind boysenberry inspired foods and drinks, Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden, featuring the berry. After you find your food and drink of choice you can enjoy a variety of entertainment such as Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree at the Calico Mine Stage, pie eating contests, line dancing and country fair festivities with the local Ghost Town folks. This is all included with admission to the park.

Here are some of the mouthwatering dishes that will be served at the festival: boysenberry pizza made with arugula and goat cheese, the unforgettable and delicious new ravioli dish packed with boysenberry flavors, freshly-baked boysenberry fry bread and lip-smacking corn on the cob with boysenberry butter and mayo, alligator bites paired with farm-made zesty boysenberry aioli, finger-licking boysenberry BBQ wings, savory boysenberry meatballs, sweet boysenberry cream soda, creamy chocolate covered boysenberry cheesecake on a stick. My mouth is watering just thinking about the pizza! Additional fee for tasting.

If you fall in love with the Boysenberry BBQ sauce, Boysenberry Butter, Boysenberry Dressing and Boysenberry Chipotle Sauce you can purchase them by heading over to the Berry Market located in the California Market Place and General Store in Ghost Town. Some select items will also be available online at the Berry Market Store. You can also purchase boysenberry inspired products such as boysenberry soap, lip balm, and the devilishly good rock candy.

What is a festival without honoring the hosts! Ghost Town’s Hall will feature a film about Walter and Cordelia Knott’s story of settling in Buena Park and the introduction of the boysenberry to the world. The festival will be filled with live entertainment, music, food, dancing, and so much more! Don’t miss this opportunity and make a family trip to the festival starting April 1-23.
