Southern California’s longest-running Halloween theme park event, Knott’s Scary Farm, kicks off its 51st year this Thursday, September 19, bringing with it new attractions and experiences that promise a chilling adventure. This year, fans can explore two new mazes, Eight Fingers Nine and Widows, along with a special tribute to the Queen of Halloween herself, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark©.

Eight Fingers Nine takes guests back to an 18th-century colonial village terrorized by a monstrous figure known for devouring fingers and trapping victims in a state of sleep paralysis.

Meanwhile, Widows transports visitors to a decaying nursing home, where black widow spiders possess the bodies of the elderly, preparing to secure mates before dawn.

In addition to these frightful mazes, Knott’s is debuting the Yours Cruelly, Elvira XXperience, a retrospective of Elvira’s 20-season run at Knott’s Scary Farm. This immersive experience will showcase video highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, and memorabilia from Elvira’s legendary performances. Fans will also have the chance to meet Cassandra Peterson, the woman behind the iconic character, during her scheduled signings on September 19, October 18, and October 20, and at a Q&A session in the Walter Knott Theater.

Running for 31 nights from September 19 through November 2, Knott’s Scary Farm promises a season filled with terrifying new experiences while honoring its long history of thrills and scares.

This year, the event returns on September 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, October 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, November 1 and 2.
