It’s the final push to the holidays. Everyone is putting the final touches on their decorations, planning the Christmas dinner at the house, or planning on hiding away by the fire until the whole thing blows over and we can look forward to Halloween again. If you are the Christmas loving horror fan you may still be scrambling to pick up thoughtful, yet appropriate items for your fellow ghoulfriends.

Factory Entertainment actually has some wonderful options for horror lovers that range from shockingly affordable to wonderfully indulgent. Starting at $10.00 these little tchotchkes would warm the heart of any horror hound.

While they do carry all kinds of collectibles, you can find a lot of the horror stuff here.

If you really want to win the heart of your favorite Freddy lover, they also have this

Standing at just under a foot tall, this 10″ Freddy Krueger figure is a solid piece of work with only a few odd choices.  The sculpting and craftsmanship are en pointe and capture the likeness of Robert Englund’s likeness well. There is also a fair amount of detail, particularly in the face and gloves.

Toting this as a “motion” figure is a bit misleading as the only thing that moves is the upper torso that balances on a spring ala bobblehead fashion. Thankfully this does nothing to detract from the solid work on the figure. Another plus are the interchangeable arms and head that echo the scene in which Freddy is pursuing Tina at the beginning of A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Ending on a bit of an odd note, however, is the plastic base for the figure that also houses the pushbutton sound generator. With such a great figure, moving or not, it seems that this foundation is a little flimsy for such a substantial piece of work.

Regardless this is a great piece to add to any collection of Freddy-belia.

As of publication, Factory Entertainment is doing a special on shipping too. Go check it out.
