Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have unveiled the official trailer and poster for The Surfer, a psychological thriller directed by Lorcan Finnegan. Starring Nicolas Cage, Julian McMahon, Nic Cassim, Miranda Tapsell, Alexander Bertrand, and Justin Rosniak, the film arrives in theaters nationwide on May 2, 2025.

The Surfer follows a father returning to his childhood beach, eager to surf with his son. Tensions rise when a local group issues a warning that outsiders are not welcome on their waves.
